About this visit
The Kalipuna Island Living Heritage Visit is a 90-minute introduction to Kalipuna Cultural Heritage Island in Hopkins, Belize, covering Garifuna history, the island’s own story, and a tasting of whatever food and fruit is in season.
The island was built with hard work and purpose, as a place to share Garifuna heritage with dignity. This short visit is the simplest way to see it and to hear why it exists.
